Individual Sessions
Individual Sessions
The JA Method is built on three core pillars: calorie awareness, mindful eating, and the psychological tools for lasting change. Through calorie awareness, we bring structure to your meals and learn to appreciate the energy content of the foods you love—without cutting them out. Mindful eating reconnects you with your body’s true signals of hunger, fullness, and emotional needs. The psychological component, rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helps you navigate the challenges, thoughts, and emotions that often derail progress.
Each weekly session is personalized to your needs and introduces a new mindful eating skill that you’ll practice during the week. You'll use the JA Method app to log your meals in a simplified way—no weighing required. I’ll have access to your log and will help you build structure, not prescribe what to eat. Together, we focus on building habits, not following rigid plans.
In every session, we review your log, address your challenges, and work on both practical skills and mindset shifts. The JA Method is not about quick fixes or strict rules about creating a sustainable lifestyle and a peaceful, empowered relationship with food. If you're ready to let go of shortcuts and commit to real change, I’ll be with you every step of the way.
We meet weekly for the first month; bi-weekly for the next two months; then monthly based on your needs.
The individual sessions can be held online or in person

Testimonials
I truly appreciated Dr. Antoun’s down to earth and genuine approach. Your honest sharing of your experiences helps set the stage for genuine sharing in a non judgmental manner within the group. The fact that you are highly approachable and regularly respond while also leaving room for participants to set their own pace without pushing change has been amazing. It was just the right balance between your follow up and our personal accountability and decisions that I feel makes the lessons learned more appealing for application.
I’ve seen many nutritionists and tried countless diets, but I truly love the JA method. It has freed me from constantly thinking and worrying about food, allowing me to enjoy treats like cake or chocolate without guilt. I have learned that there are no good or bad foods— all food can be nutritious. This approach is helping me reframe everything I thought I knew about weight loss. I’ve discovered that it’s possible to check in with myself during or even before/ after a binge. I can pause, reflect, and accept setbacks as part of my journey.
